Mold Food Festival
Mold Food and Drink Festival will be returning for the 14th year, bringing with it the very best exhibitors, cookery theatres, produce, and leading names in the culinary world. To be held on Mold's New Street car park on September 21st and 22nd 2019 our festival is the perfect recipe of exhibitors, activities, music, and cookery demonstrations – something for everyone with a dusting of a little Mold magic. Join from 5 - 27 October to celebrate all things apple. With an apple display, apple trail, apple talks and apple walks - there will be plenty of things during the week to help us explore this wonderful fruit. Then, if you join, over a weekend in October then the celebrations get even bigger including storytelling, live music, bushcrafts, demonstrations and apple printing to name but a few. With so much going there really is something for everyone!

On Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Races are held in Daniel Owen Square, Mold starting at 2pm. Teams of four race in a relay along the Square tossing their pancakes. Prizes for the fastest adult and children's team. Pans, pancakes and aprons are provided. Just turn up on the day to join in the fun.
